Monument Sky

Taken in Monument Valley, August 2002, this is the classic image,  made famous in film and still photo since John Ford made the tribal park a popular film location in the 1938 production of Stagecoach.  The wonderful deep blue sky contrasts with the red glowing buttes in this breathtaking vista.
